Simulayt selects SIMULIA as its worldwide reseller of Composites Modeler for Abaqus/CAE

SIMULAYT Limited, the specialized composites modeling software house, today announced that it has appointed SIMULIA, the Dassault Systèmes brand for realistic simulation, as the worldwide reseller of its Composites Modeler for Abaqus/CAE.

Composites Modeler for Abaqus/CAE
Composites Modeler complements and extends the powerful ply modeling features in Abaqus/CAE from the SIMULIA brand of Dassault Systèmes, by providing proven fiber simulation capabilities and advanced model building seamlessly integrated within Abaqus/CAE. Furthermore, full integration with Simulayt’s Layup Pipeline allows direct linkage with design and manufacture functions across the enterprise.

Composites Modeler for Abauqs/CAE allows analysts to undertake rapid fiber simulation to ensure that a specified model is manufacturable. The continuously-varying fiber angles reflecting the actual as-laid material can then be transferred directly to Abaqus to allow simulations of unprecedented accuracy. Once design requirements are achieved, the composites model can be easily transferred to CATIA V5 for detailed design and manufacture.
